Hi, I'm Dan, your host .  Please consider staying here on your next C&O trip, only 5 minutes by bike from the trail.

       Since 2014, the goal here has been to provide the cycling community (which I gratefully count myself among) with the best value on the trail.  Here you get a super clean house, deep memory foam mattresses, hot showers, a great calorie laden breakfast to get you 20 miles down the trail, and use of the whole house; large living room, large dining room, full kitchen, inside bike storage (all on the same level) floor pump w/guage, and tools for most repairs.  Also, WiFi, A/C, and free laundry,  65"TV in the living room.  All for 44.25+tax=$50 total per person.  Cash only, please. 304-671-5153.

  You also get all the support you may need for your trip.  Bike trouble?  Call me, I'll come get you in the car, make sure you're fixed, or dropped at a shop in the morning.  Too tired to make it?  Call, I'll come get you in the car.  It's a privilege to host you, and I'm here to help fellow cyclists.  Several restaurants within a 5 minute walk, or you can cook here.  Dollar General is a 2 minute walk.  

    I love the C&O, it's why I retired here in '09.  Since then, I've logged over 50,000 miles (7000+ a year) mainly in this 60 mile stretch. It's still the same thrill every time I turn onto the trail, and into the woods.  The trees, plants, river, and wildlife provide that thrill, particularly the birds.  I can help you with info, and little shortcuts that aren't yet on any maps.  304-671-5153 is my number.  Please call with any questions.
